Good source on hacking to make the bluetooth work if you want to Jailbreak your I-device;

http://forums.evolutionm.net/04-06-ralliart-general/600841-elm-327-bluetooth-obd-iis-apps.html

actually that was way back with the Bluetooth, the one I have works perfectly with the iPhone for Bluetooth. Even still use my hands free at the same time!

BT1a from go point technology, works with iPhone and android and definitely Bluetooth.

But seems like I can't add ford PIDS WTF *beep*!! It's just f*cking code, code it up krunts. I paid $50 for this sh*t app, ripped off!

PID- 0105

Unit Celcius- Min 0.0, Max 200.0

Equation- A-40

Scale Factor- x1

Unit Type- C (put the degree symbal before the C)

OBD Header- TCM

My car is a 09 F6X (turbo territory) though with the 6 speed auto so may or may not be the same and it may or may not screw your car up...

Odd, I have that PID for coolant temp, not trans. Max temp is set to 120C.

Would be great if we could get a definitive list somewhere.

That PID is the coolant temp - address 0105 is simply the TCU looking to the engine coolant temp.

The PID for transmission temp is 1674 - however this does not show any values on the BTR 4spa (BA)

It would be good to know if the ZF 6sp reports temp at this address though.

I've been researching what the address is for the BA and can't find it :(

However, this link has a number of ford specific PIDs - http://diagrams.hissind.com/?p=458

I have borrowed my Nieces Android tablet and purchased Torque - so mucking around with it at present to see what I can/can't access. when adding the Ford PID's, it seems to add only those published in the link I just sent - so it seems the developer of Torque had no more access to Ford PID's ufortunately.

That being said, Palmer (who created Dashcommand) have a HUGE list of Ford specific PID's, as I have in their SCAN XL software, BUT They dont and wont publish the addresses for them. I presume they paid big $$ for them, as they charge extra for the Ford PID's to be included. That being said, its pretty piss poor they dont include them in the dashcommand software as its not a cheap app!

I tried running a pid scan in torque to get the trans temp pid but get an out of memory error after about 15 mins. Emailed the stack trace to the dev. Running it on a nexus 4 so memory is not an issue.
