Emailed the stack trace to the dev. Running it on a nexus 4 so memory is not an issue.I ran this on the way to work this morning... after a 35 minute drive, the app was still running and I had to turn off the car :/ BUT I hadnt discovered any unusual responses in what data it had either.. bit disappointing I've read that the extensive pid scan can take a few hours. There is an option to enable fast comms if your adapter supports it. Not sure if that helps

Ones a Samsung knock off and the other was a 4 yr old huwei thingo. Hoping they're just poo. Doesn't fill me with confidence with the thought of buying a $100 jobo. No trans temp monitoring for me then.... Thinking back I do vaguely remember thinking I won't need android compatibility.... http://gopointtech.com/buy-now/ Edited 14/02/13 10:54 AM by Bulletime
Bulletime Donating Members 937 Member For: 13y 10m 19d Gender: Male Posted 14/02/13 11:20 AM Share Posted 14/02/13 11:20 AM So just emailed dashcommand about adding in the ford pids or custom pids. The crap about not being able to specify custom pids because of apple is bs, plenty of apps allow customisation and downloading of settings data, this is nothing more than that. It's not programming or scripting even, simply a lookup table of available pids did what they mean.

Open torque, from the first page go to 'settings' then 'manage extra pids/sensors' and enter the stuff in the post I mentioned. Or you can 'add predefined set' and choose 'ford'.
