PID- 0105

Unit Celcius- Min 0.0, Max 200.0

Equation- A-40

Scale Factor- x1

Unit Type- C (put the degree symbal before the C)

OBD Header- TCM

Odd, I have that PID for coolant temp, not trans. Max temp is set to 120C.

Would be great if we could get a definitive list somewhere.

I've got the DashCommand app for iOS and reading their forums they can only get the SAE codes, they can't pick up the ford specific ones in the app, they have a windows program that supposedly but something to do with the library they use and they'd like to add stuff like that but dunno why it's not there. This was from a thread that was a bit old too. Bit disappointing for a $50 app I expect it to blow me as well considering its the most expensive app I've ever bought, but definitely should at least do trans temp. Might have to try some of the other iOS obd apps.

Rydeit, boost works fine.

Even had the thing working on our diesel Sanata Fe. Interesting to see fuel rail pressure reach 16,000 psi when giving it a rev - lol

To get Ford specific PID's, go to the "Manage Custom OBD2 PIDs" menu within settings, then select "Add predefined set" and select "Ford"

That will give you a heap of extra PID's including tansmission fluid temp, fuel level, throttle position, transmission gear and even steering wheel angle (works on my BF) plus a heap of others.

I has ipad, only gets used for ordering pizza and watching porn. Also has galaxy note.

given the ipad has a slightly bigger screen I'd like to give it a crack.

Any differences in the android to apple versions, is one better or they both compatible with our cars?

Torque is not available on apple - nor does the Bluetooth adaptor work. You need a Wi-fi adaptor, and then given the feedback above, it looks like there is no option for adding custom PID to any apple app.

Owning an ipad myself, im contemplating getting an android device just for the car interface - will probably work out cheaper and better than buying devices and apps to make use of the ipad!
