it would be operator desretion. Beig a good operator they would know this.

115 I take in the 110 zone. Negative you would not be safe. So if you were doing 115 then you could be doing 126.5 or 104.5. Thus your stuffed.

Camera in QLD on 110 zones takes photos at 122 therfore you would be caught. However if you set your cruise at 110 on the limit you would be fine.

115 is putting great trust in your speedo accuracy plus you are speeding anyway. Fair enough if you get away with it but its a calculated risk your taking.

Thanks Curious,

Yeah should have clarified about the 110 limit and yes 115 is still speeding but interesting to check some of these things regardless whilst were on Q&A time is it true that you cannot be issued a ticket from a camera if there is more than 1 vehicle in frame of the shot or is this perhaps a rumour. Sounds like I'm a real speed demon, not the case! Just interested to know!

Cheers

I purchased several cans of spraypaint form US to spray numberplates with a High Gloss that reflects back most of the flash and only the first and last number/letter diplays.

After seeing this in operation in US with the cops confirming its effectiveness I decided to risk the purchase. The first 5 cans sold pretty quick and have since purchased again with 2 cans remaining.

Have not heard any complaints from purchasers and have had my plates sprayed since August 2003 (day of delivery)

Can you verify this "spray paint" for us all please? :ta:

We had several speed camera's down here in the ACT, if you drive through them at, say, 90kph for us, and then we will all wait and see if you get a ticket!

Thanks champ!

I'm sick of the speed cameras ...

in the last two years I have had my "photo" taken 4 times, the last just coming in the mail today .....

67 in a 60 - $105

66 in a 60 - $105

65 in a 60 - $115

and now

64 in a 60 - $125

location : MEXICO

has anybody got a photo for doing 61 in a 60 ???

the prize : truckloads of sympapthy

(I don't condone speeding and I don't condone speed cameras  )

I should get a prize for not f$%king swearing in this post

I might go on and on about speeding, but getting pinged for those speeds is just BS. I'm pretty sure our speed cameras default is 9km over the limit, so 69 in a 60, 89 in an 80. At least u have some chance of getting off if your a touch over. Were they from fixed cameras ?

Dont believe the hype about spray paint for the plates. Bar covering your plates in black paint, they dont work. They dont need the flash during the day either so there goes that argument

these were all from "fixed to unmarked vehicles" cameras  the default is minus 3km/h

SWMBO got pinged 3 points & $230 for doing 62 in 50 just before Christmas on the hand held radar ... no need for a high speed chase ... they just walked behind the car and tapped on the rear window and asked her to stop ...

it really is getting out of hand ....

I'm thinking of not paying and going to court or whatever ...

Mr.BLKXRT, were you exceeding the speed limit ? errrrr yes, your honour ...

full fine plus additional court costs ... I have not heard of anyone winning on 4km/h over

MEXICO !!!!!

Any one know how many fixed cameras now operate between mexico border and outskirts of town? I have been told 12, though don't know how reliable that is.

My speedo is about 4% generous. My computer is spot on. (reset trip avg speed=116, sppedo reads 122, radar reads 116

I sit on this speed on 110klm/h highway and the radar operators don't even look up at me.
