White Commo VX SS with no badges on rear (Still has GenIII badge on side). Twin pipe exhaust, lowered, chromies, and custom dash. Black on White personal plate GD **** I pulled up next to him and asked him for a run. He said it wasn't such a good idea and showed me his badge. What a legend, he could of ran me and fined me big time!!It was his work car, although I couldn't spot any lights on the inside.. I show the badge off duty and say the same thing in my own car when someone wants a run. I usually then get a cute little smile from thier missus when I do it. VX are getting old now, should be "turned over"I know different states use all types of makes and models so it may be correct. Good rule would be to take what he said as gospel. In my car second gear at 3 grand was sixty, so from the Stanly street lights it was on, I got to sixty and dropped it into forth. Faye avenue lights, same again. I lost both times as even a hotted up EA fairmont ghia wouldnt stand upto an AU XR8Watching from behind us was a little ricer in a hinda civic. I like those cars but this thing looked terrible. Anyways on the way down to the next set of lights about 2 k away he pushed past me and decided to give the xr8 a go at edward street..... Big mistake on his part :lol:As soon as he past sixty the front and back of the XR lit up blue and red. I cruised past laughing my head off. I'm wasnt silly enough not to notice the dash orniment with the lighst on the unmarked car, plus I like my licence too much Racing for me is limited to a mate of mines farm 750 meters of black driveway Edited 07/01/04 03:08 AM by dankman Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/8371-be-careful-when-racing/#findComment-79850 Share on other sites
