Guys, I'm thinking of buying an XR6T, the other night after a few VBs I seemed to recall reading in a magazine recently the series II would have a six speed auto, was I VB dreaming?

so many rumours......

GP did confirm that ford are testing a 6sp, but when and if it will be released is anybody's guess.

Believe it when you see it. that's my theory.

EagerVBeaver,

Welcome to the forum, glad to hear you're contemplating the best car on the market today.

Don't wait for rumours, get out there and order your brand spanking new HgAg ... TODAY! You won't regret it.

What's HgAg you ask ... well I'm glad you did ...

It's the only choice of colour in the BA range for the discerning buyer. It (HgAg) exudes Class, Style and Elegance and I know a man of your obvious taste wouldn't be seen dead in anything other than the very best. :finger:

Ignore the BluePukers and the SillyWet boys, they'll fill you head with cardie/bowls non-sense.

Enjoy the forum, the people and most of all the BA XR6 Turbo. :smilielol:

My girlfriend likes the Mercury Silver, but my first car ever was a Tango Orange TD Cortina so the Orange may get a run. (Mental note: Don't take girlfriend to Ford dealer  )
