This is the only downside to forums at times, if people who don't quite know what they are looking at, go off half cocked about a product failing. By no means is this directed to Trent!Any good mechanic would clean the area down first.A rear main leaks from the opposite side of the flywheel and the only them I've ever seen clutches get oil on them from that is if there's no way for the oil to escape the bell housing.Yes, the rear main is behind the flywheel, but when the flywheel is spinning at 2000rpm on the highway for example, surely this would generate turbulence in the bellhousing and cause the oil to be misty and there is no way of stopping it from going onto the clutch. The clutch package is on it's way back up now.Mal has added a few bits and pieces to handle the power & torque and a bit more.Although has recommended a 2000km bed in for it. Looks like I'll have to behave for a whileThe clutch should arrive on Monday with a bit of luck! Definitely let the clutch bed in, and you should be right then! :D We would be keen to see how it goes!

It'd only be good for a bin job anyway. If it's stuffed from incorrect fitment then you may be able to talk to the installer about it and get some compensation.Thought I answered this fairly.... must not have posted or got deleted...Anyway, checkin out a torque clamp in the morning

So you supply a new one with the kits, is it a sealed type bearing? (Since the factory one can leak badness where you dont want it).
