Serious?

He posted this morning (two before mine) and has posted several times after OED666 has been asking him what I have.

The only posts that have been removed are from complete fckwits that have no interest in this discussion other than to stir sh*t.

My questions have been answered.

The 410rwkw opt3+ is sh*t if running semis with 320rwkw. I chose to buy it from some bad advice.

Now I have to live with it.

Am just voicing my experience and dont like the attitude im being given.

Ben's clutch was supplied by us and fitted by his mate.

Lukes first Mal wood clutch was supplied and fitted by us, he had an issue that the clutch pedal did not return from the floor a couple of times when giving it a sprited drive, it was recommended by us to test it further which showed signs of slippage. We removed the clutch and sent it back to Mal Wood to be addressed, and was not aware of any grease contamination up until Paul's post, We also had the flywheel ground to give good contact surfaces. Luke drove with the 2nd clutch with no issues and we recently tuned it to 440+ rwkw with no slippage on the dyno, I only became aware that he had problem or assumed he had a problem from reading his posts on the week end.

Yer Mick only supplied my clutch, although I wanted him to fit it, unfortunately it all happened over christmas holidays so it went to my mates workshop.

In no way did mick steer me toward any model or brand, he only pointed out the good and bad things about some and the decision was 100% mine to get 3+..

mick also supplied a 17mm (I think) packer for the crush, which was spot on according to the guy who installed it.

Staino why are you continually skirting around the million-dollar question(s)? Who did you get it from? What have they had to say about it? Have you called Mal Wood?

Thank you for finally answering my questions!! I can tell you that there is a setup issue if you need a 17mm spacer for the slave cylinder with this clutch. I just placed a clutch on a 4L engine, with sandwich plate and measured from the fingers to the block. I got 85mm. From the bellhousing face to the slave cylinder I measured up 69mm. This gives you 16mm of crush. You need 14-17mm of crush for the slave cylinder. No spacer is requried. There is no way a 17mm spacer could fit under the slave and the transmission be fitted, as the slaves bottom out at 24-25mm of crush.
