That's because the clutch is dragging. Sounds like , bad bleed, not large enough spacer on CSC or bent clutch plate or plates

If the take up point is 1cm off the firewall, then the CSC is spaced out too far, I believe (or like arronm is hinting at - the clutch diaphragm is too close to top of the CSC).

If you don't get the box onto the dowels and the shaft into the spigot properly and have trouble lining up the clutch, the clutch plate can be bent by letting the box hang.

Either way he just can't give up. Something is wrong, he is a mechanic so FIX it

If he supplied the clutch , get him to put it all back to stock and take is somewhere else. How far do you live from Mal Woods shop , cause I guarantee he won't fukc it up

And there shines why people have moved on

Some seen it in the tunes some are seeing it in the work side of things very sad

I apologise for reffering you there rollex but up until now he had been bang on with the mechanical side and knew not only is he cheap but used to be reliable

If we were still going we would of pissed this in as we have before,,,, maybe its time to come out of retirement !

He took the box out 3 times if he hasn't got it right by now he isn't ever going to get it right.

Npc said the pickup point will improve by at least 1 inch once it is worn in. Does this make sense?
