Looks like I'm getting a tune soon, being manual are these clutches any good?

When I had my SS which was a turbo I used Textralia without any issues at all.

Just wanting to know if they can handle the huge amounts of Torque these cars produce not rwks.

Also people with manual cars using Mal wood can I have feedback as you are the people using them, as a former business owner I tell customers what they want to hear,no offence to Mal wood and Co.

Any feedback would be great.

Also anyone using another clutch brand feedback would be great.

Custom 5 is good untill you put et streets on it dosent seem to like it at all ... I take off normally on the line and tromp it and then you can smell the clutch, and in 4 runs ( which had a break between runs ) my 60 ft went from 1.9 to 2.5 ... Great street clucth not so great track clutch and that's now my honest opinion .. in all though I won't be putting another clutch in . I'm putting in a auto .. There maybe man in Manual but there ain't no time either

Street use you won't find better then mal's clutches, I had a 3+ in my ute and it was perfect... Before that it had a "heavy duty" exedy and it was a pile of junk to drive and it didn't last...

I asked the question also.

From responses I chose opt3+

Now from more questions about why it failed it seems option 6 is ONLY option if your car even touches a track or semis.

Imo the rwkw rating is misleading. At end of the day, my Option 3+ failed with 320rwkw.

WAY below the 410rwkw rating.

I cant recommend them from my experience.

Unfortunately I dont rate them at all

Pulled a opt 5 twin plate out of a bf f6 ute that had done 10,000kms and only 380 nizpro kw and it was a steaming heap of snot,

Needed a full rebuild and previous owner wasnt!! the local burnout king either

When we asked about warranty or coming to the party a very dim view was formed on mal and a coupla hundred off rrp cost to rebuild was offered

Texxtra are way to noisy ( twin plate ) but grip onced clamped well

Npc to date ( I feel ) are the best value for money and drive the best with genuine strength and durability to date

This is my opinion dont expect everyone to agree
