What Bushes To Use?

The original Super Pro side bushes are identical to Dans, but everyone complained about NVH...

I wasn't aware of this, not really worried about NVH but I don't want to pull the cradle out every 2 yrs.

The Superpros served me well but they have gone very soft and the amount of travel the diff bolt has due to the diff bush compressing is far too much for my liking.

I know this is ba mk2. But...

In ba mk1 I have found the stock solid bush is plenty strong enough and performs well. It's just noisey. Which is why it was changed in mk2 as people complained about the NVH.

That's the problem with these bushes. People say they don't mind the extra noise, but then after a year or so you get out of your car and you keep hearing the whine and it gets annoying, so what can you do?

I've had my car 2 years with hard shifting box and the noise doesn't faze me.

Is Daniel still making these? The new SP non voided bushes aren't dissimilar from his.

Actually the new K-Mac ones look like an almost exact copy of mine.

I am almost out of the last batch but will probably get another 10 sets made next month if the interest leves are still there. Ive made 60 sets now with one running change about halfway through and never had a set come back after they were installed.

I dont have vibration whine/NVH in mine but there is a small amount of backlash noise there compared to stock.

My Twin Turbo runs the earlier style I made and has done 20,000kms with the stock halfshafts still in there to this day, done 13,000kms as a ZF auto car and 7,000 as a TR6060 manual car, all with upwards of 500rwkw daily driven (is 600rwkw at the moment on 98 with the 5.0L)

George I have one new set and that set we spoke about last month available, I will call you when I get home to run through which way we should go with that... need to take another look at that early set and check the OD and measure them up.
