I read somewhere that it will be late 2014 before the next major revision to Falcon is launched. In the meantime we (loyal non swinging voters) will have to put up with tiny scraps of revision and price discounting to hold sales against the VF and imported over priced snob wheels.

This discounting will lower our resale values yet further and test the loyalty of Ford new car buyers. This discounting will hurt Ford and its dealers even harder.

When the Fusion comes in 2016,with a twin turbo V6 and AWD it should hang on around corners.

We may never see another majorly upgrade to Falcon despite promises. Launch the Aussie Fusion now , hold onto your F6 as it may be the last one...

It's pretty obvious that the R-Spec enhacement package (at least the rear end and the wide wheels) will be released for the F6. The development costs are sunk and it would be crazy not to let it loose on the F6.

As to whether there is a power (software only) upgrade durability and EPA tested, approved and ready to go for the F6, who knows?

afaik even the GT is back to 245 rears since the move back to sole Ford production. Just treating the 5 customers they have left with contempt as usual.

All the bull about how the R-Spec was "the package as they always wanted to do it", and now you can pay just as much money for the car "not like they wanted it"
