Doesn't matter about the clays, content is what people want these days and with the VF details released its quite easy to predict how everything will pan out.

The ever decreasing large aussie car market has 3 main groups within it: Expensive Daewoo loyals, Ford loyals, and swinging voters. What the loyals will buy is obvious, but the swingers will go for the best product/deal/whatever as the wind changes. Why would they buy an FG over a VF for the same money?

If the Falcon is only continuing until 2016, then for Ford to extract the maximum value out of the brand they can before that date, they would need to make any big change this year preferred, or next year latest. If they only do a cosmetic and not touch the engine room , I think they will miss the boat almost completely. I need to buy a new car sometime this year and so the word is than July or so is when we will hear what's in store for the next Falcon including what was FPV. You would think that whatever that is, the price to pick up a current model then will be very attractive. I agree with Bunna, whatever the next release, it will have all the bling like the Focus has, and they don't even need to make any major changes to the exterior, but it is time to put a bit more under the bonnet and down the drivechain. If they did that alone it could swing me to an F6. 350Kw?

would love to see the R-Spec enhancements (on the GT335 R-Spec) become standard in the 2014 FPV's. What the F6 needs most is grip. 350kw is more than achievable with simple tune and boost, so would be great to see those 2 enahncements with exterior and interior changes

and 10" rears...

Maybe not that extreme but definitely the FPV and Performance non-FPV (XR6T and G6ET) need at least factory optional 9". It would really help the traction issues without blowing Ford's ever dwindling development budget.
