Hi All,

Well I got around to having my Xede fitted today here in Melbourne, and have so far driven about 100km with the mod done and I must say I am impressed.

Now I have owned quick cars before so I am not going to say that it is now the fastest thing on the road, but it now gives you a nice shove in the back when you ask it to.

Throttle response hasn't improved greatly and the rush realy seems to pour on from 3000 rpm or just above. It is certainly very different to drive on real world roads though and the extra grunt is very usable both flooring it or just squeezing the throttle brings a smile. Will comment more after more k's are done.

Car goes back in 2 weeks time for upgraded injectors and water spray for the IC controlled through the Xede.

Now for the numbers,

Mods so far,

Xede piggy back computer

SS inductions air intake

BMC Filter

GFB Stealth FX blow off valve

Centre muffler replaced by 2 hot dogs

Rear muffler removed and replaced with straight through pipes

Dyno Dynamics Dyno (Not in shootout mode)

Air temp 23c

Power before Xede 182.1 kw

Power after Xede 224.8 kw

Torque improved across the entire range, please see graph to confirm :hrmm:

Dean.

how much did it hit the hip pocket (if you don't mind me asking :) ) ?

I'm a newb when reading dyno readouts... could you explain the two bottom lines at the 2000 rpm range... what are they?

Thx,

Miyagi

I think you'll find that those two lines on the bottom of the dyno graph are the before and after torque readings. The flatter and longer you can keep them running for the better.
