In relation to your other questions, you would have to ask Realdyno. But I have complete faith in these guys, and Pete who tuned it, has been tuning for over 30 years. And his father before him also had a dyno, so I'm guessing experience may play a role.Cheers isn't that IT temp recorded from a probe sensor on a DD? if so it should be placed near or in the air intake and would not be affected by heat soak as the dyno cooling fans should keep the external temp under control, unless something is heating up your air box.The best guide for IAT is through the obd2, that way you can see what the ecu is seeing inside the manifold. It's good you are happy with the final job, that is the main aspect, Realdyno have done their job well

I'm wondering whether placing my rocker breather oulet in the airbox could be the problem here. And yes Mick very happy. I can't stress enough the importance of using good tuner's such as yourself. As you know I went down the generic tune road, (for those out there considering it) and as tempting as it may seem DO NOT DO THIS. As the risks far outweigh the benefit.Just a side note, what I found interesting was that the run after the 396 was a 395. I only lost 1 hp with the cooler. This may possibly be a result of the other mods I have done. So what had been done may not of produced a lot of addition hp, but it may infact have provided more consistency. And with a proper cooler, I might see some better results down the track.Cheers
