Air drying while still stationary...I like. If it's 100% pure water it shouldn't leave spots? Or do you have to clay bar afterwards to remove spots?

Clay bar to remove bonded surface contamination, I am using a Zaino hydrophobic sealant so it doesn't get water spots and the blower is to remove water from crevices

Ah yeah the water in the crevices sucks after I move the car...cool. I don't have any actual water spots myself, rainwater from the giant tank washes my baby and I dry with MF towel, but good to know.

Keeping with the 'clean car' theme here.. does anyone know of any decent/well fitted FG ute car covers?
Thinking about trying to get one to use whilst I'm at work because the amount of dust I'm getting on the car from the trucks rolling through the area and the cement factories nearby, is kind of annoying.
The car sits in a carpark, under the sun basically all day, so it'd need to be able to take some heat/reflect a bit of it in the summer.

funny I was just talking about this with my brother in law. He works at a scrap metal yard and there is all sorts of crap flying around, he bought an outdoor cover from supercheap its a tarp style (plastic) but it has like a cotton liner.

Keep in mind though if that ute on your avatar is the car you are going to be using it on and the car is not clean that cover will put swirls and scratches on black paint in a heartbeat.

I would do a 3 phase polish and seal the car with a really good ceramic sealer and then just hose that bad boy off every second day.

Cover should really only go a completely clean car.

What if I get the belt sander out with a 40 grain bit of sand paper and smooth it out?

That's how I did mine and brought it back to the lovely undercoat colour you see in my avatar. Was quick too. Used to be shockwave but no one likes that.
