Hi guys just wanting to know about your ideas on modding the stock swirl pot? say with a intank 400lph pump do you guys mod the bottom of the pot to help with flow? Or leave it stock as putting holes in the pot stops it filling up when fuel is low in the tank? a good mate of mine is new to pump change and wanted me to find out im not 100% sure what I would do??

thanks guys

Yeah Ratter I did. The fuel pressure has increased from 52 > 62psi at idle. The car is trimming fuel (can't recall % at this moment) but this will be adjusted for when tuning in the next few weeks. The restriction in the factory reg and return line is causing the increased pressure.

I'm unsure of the part number for the genuine bosch unit. If anyone has this info I'd certainly like to know. Alternatively you can use this reg http://www.034motors...ar-p-19082.html. Thanks to IH8TOADS for this link.

In addition to the reg being a restriction on the return the factory swirl pot has a restriction also. Both of these should be considered.

For my E85 tune, on little turbo, I'm trying to sort my fuel pump needs. I'll be running 1000cc injectors. Thought I'd found the answer with the Walbro TIA485-2 400LPH E85. You can buy these in a drop in assembly but.... contacted old mate (as per link) and he said the loom, reg etc isn't up to it.

So, will the GSS340 with 255LPH get it done? I would do a surge and 044 (or similar) later if I upgrade the turbo. So for now, just trying to get an intank that will cut it without altering the loom etc. Boost will still be around the 13 - 14psi mark on E85. Hoping to sqeeze around 340rwkw out of the little huffer on the corn juice.

Advice from anybody that has gone down this path would be great :)
