I get off my p's in 3 weeks after 4 long years! yay!have done some reasearch on the ve ss but im still leaning towards an xr6t or f6. however I dont no much about either , apart from obvious differences such as interior and bodykit how different are these cars? I imagine suspension/braking would be alot more advanced on the fpv , also keeping in mind im buying brand new and brand new only (tax reason) and just want a nice quick and realoble daily driver , hence why im also leaning to a turbo as from what I no fuel consumtion is reasonable when driving normaly. if anyone could shed any light on the main differences between the xr6t and f6 torndo ute would be great. I do also plan on test driving once im fully liscenced

F6 turbo can hit 400rwkw.

But on the street they are on par in terms of speed standard 0-100.
Spinning Donating Members 348 Member For: 15y 6m 19d Posted 13/01/13 11:08 AM Share Posted 13/01/13 11:08 AM I can comment based on my own experience ... As some years ago - I was faced with the same decision . I elected to purchase the F6 . In short the reason, where the personal reasons, raccoon/panda eyes, brembo brakes, 19' wheels, and larger intercooler visible through the front lower bar... Although both cars, run the Garrett GT3540 turbo, the F6 runs bigger intake and exhaust manifolds and as stated intercooler . In my opinion 'stock' the F6 looks more aggressive, and felt on boost... If you going to start with either car, and then tip money to achieve better than 400rwkw, then you may want to start with a XR 6 , however, if you shop hard you can still find brand new F6 2011 for around low $50's ... I have lost pace with what a new XR 6 Turbo are going for, let's say for decision the F6 cost you the extra $10k, in mu opinion it would be a better pay , and you get a better result at the other end when you decide to sell it .. The fuel consumption is no worse or better than my XR6T ute depending on your driving style of course but either the GS or F6 will both be a reliable daily either way. I had the choice between both but I'm a V8 fan at heart so the decision was easy for me even though it is basically an XR8 ute with the Miami engine but looks are'nt everything and I personally prefer the understated look of the GS. Have a decent drive in both and that should help you make the final decision. Either way you will have an awesome ute...good luck mate!
