Yeah I think iam gonna ring protrans in the next few days and get a quote for one of their powerglides. I do have a question though...

Of all their listed transmissions online only some of the powerglide builds have a weight rating (3100lbs). This probably doesnt matter, but im just curious if their is a weakness or anything associated with this.

You can get carbon fibre tail shafts for skylines, but has anyone ever seen or followed up trying to get one to suit a falcon?

I think a chromoly or alloy would be easier to find, but just wondering.

yes u can get a carbon fibre tail shaft

from CARBON ART ( dunno if there still going )

around 5k last I heard ( aparently )

hardy spicer and jg drivelines are doing shafts for the falcon for around the 1200-2k mark and handeling big hp so far

Back to the main part of this forum I was looking around to see what other info I could find on powerglides and TH400 and came across this
