Unless you were out in the sun doing it or something which your obviously not. Sorry, cant help, I have no idea whats going on here. It wont be the paint. If anything, maybe there is some layer of something over the car? Try wiping a panel off with some wax and grease remover and see if that does anything??? stu1 Member 4 Member For: 16y 6d Gender: Male Posted 28/01/13 06:10 AM Share Posted 28/01/13 06:10 AM I started to use the new Meguiars Ultimate wax, found it worked well and gave an exceptional gloss, but still had a smeared look all over the paintwork, The meguiares guys suggested spraying on some Quick Detailer before buffing, also unlike other waxes, don't let it dry completely before buffing.I still can't get rid of the smeared look so have gone back to using Meguiares NXT wax.
