Hi I have a Kinectic MK2 aswell.. The way around your problem is as I have found... Never wash your car. I have has mine since March last year and never been washed.. Inside has never been cleaned and under the bonnet looks like it went into a sand tune.. I'm being deadset serious about this aswell ask anyone who's seen it.. It has developed a funny smell in the cabin.. It's a ute so should be easy to find whst has died.

Ive been a spraypainter for about 15years... never heard of this. Unless you were out in the sun doing it or something which your obviously not.

Sorry, cant help, I have no idea whats going on here. It wont be the paint. If anything, maybe there is some layer of something over the car? Try wiping a panel off with some wax and grease remover and see if that does anything???

well I bought the car from the dealership where I work, as new, but having said that it did come from a dealer on the Sunshine Coast where they had it delivered straight from the factory. so they may have used something on it when they washed and detailed it first.

And I will have a read through this as well

thanks for the feedback

I started to use the new Meguiars Ultimate wax, found it worked well and gave an exceptional gloss, but still had a smeared look all over the paintwork, The meguiares guys suggested spraying on some Quick Detailer before buffing, also unlike other waxes, don't let it dry completely before buffing.I still can't get rid of the smeared look so have gone back to using Meguiares NXT wax.
