Just wondering if there are any authorised/accredited ZF workshops in Brisbane? I have been talking to my service manager at Ford about servicing the trans and he quoted $1000+ and claims that the warranty may be voided if the trans is serviced anywhere but an accredited workshop.

Sorry he isnt accredited but can sort you out regardless. The fluid at retail price costs $65 a litre if I recall correctly

^^^ sealed for life means life of warranty. My auto is doing quirky things (no milkshake - check it almost daily!) so I'll be doing a flush soon. Car has only done 32k but think it's time.

Any other trans specialists people can recommend in the Brisbane area?

Don't mind a drive, north, south, east or west if they're good.
