Well sum mite remeber that I was talking about machineing my rotors on my ba xr6t with factory premium brakes (black caliper)

anyway I mahined them, fixed to stupidly ridicoliuos shubber for 3 000k now....now its come back to bite me in the arse!!

At the time it was minimum 280-400 (ford 850) to buy 2 rotrs for the front...that was RDA the cheapest (non slotted) and 400 was for slotted. (all deliverd) hence why I spent 44 bucks to get the front 2 machined.

Anyway. I have since looked up prices and they have come down a hell of allot in price!

Rda non slotted, 125 a pair

Rda slotted and dimpled 185 a pair

Rda slotted only 220 a pair

Rapid non slotted 150 a pair

rapid slotted 180 a pair

ford welllllll still $850 a pair.......

all plus postage of $40-60

I been told slotted and dimpled are not as good as they say? and teh rapid ones are more dense then RDA and will not warp as easy (still have chances of warping though

seeing im not raceing it or drive hard hard/brake hard hard....what should I get?

I have RDA extream pads on front and it stops pretty good beside steering wheel and whole car shaking! also think the rears have warped aswell as its bunny hoping again slightly

f*cking cars lol

DBA4000 T3 slotted

or even better

DBA5000 (two piece) T3 slotted

The Ford OEM Premium discs are pillar vented Rossini discs. These are great discs.
IIRC RDA discs are not pillar vented units (they are vane vented). RDA discs are also imported from China.
DBA discs employ an elaboration of the pillar venting principle called, 'Kangaroo Paw'. DBA would say that Kangaroo Paw is a significant evolution and improvement on the pillar venting idea.
As good as the one piece Rossini discs are, and they are really good, the DBA 5000 T3 (slotted two piece discs) seem to be significantly better in a number of areas.
The DBA discs are Aussie made and shipped all over the world where they enjoy an enviable reputation for track applications and high performance road applications.

I have the premium pbr calipers with elliptical slotted discs (from a ts50 I think?) on the front and they dont shudder a bit, and grip like a vice...

have heard the cheaper rda stuff are sh*t but the rda slotted and dimpled gold series I cant fault with every day driving and the odd heavy braking matched with redstuff pads

yeah, I just dont have much to spend atm, I have had RDA on my Late model camira for the last 4 years, just the cheap ones, gave them allot of hard brakeing and they have only just started to warp (lots of high speed brakes to a stop)

I meassage RDA directly and the guy gave me a price of 3 times the amout as what I can get the standard ones on ebay for....I told him how much I can get em for he sais that's a f*cking good price and I should get em as he cannot even suppie them at that price to places that sell them...lol
