hate to inform you but there's a strong chance that is not probably from the fuel itself but it's the E85 starting to break all the sh7t lose in the tank and lines etc that has been in there for a long time

All good mick, though in this case I noticed it almost straight after filling up.

I had to drive for a further 100kms at the time.. Could only use sfa pedal to get Hm.

I know what your trying to say though... I was actually sus on one hose as when I was fitting up my fuel sys. I had to turn the hose on the barbed fitting really hard where I actually thought at the time hmm f*ck I think I stuffed the hose rather than turn it on the fitting.

Always ment to replace the hose but never got to it, so you can imagine the 1st thing I checked after the car was good to go again and finished at the shop (inj. Cleaned and all) was that stoopid hose I twisted the sh*t out of.

Aannnyway I cut the hose in half and it was completely fine, infancy it looked brand new.

Really depends on how dirty the fuel system was befor using ethonal. My GT has run it since 5000 kays , only ever Caltex Eflex, its done 22000 kays now on 100% stock fuel system, never a hicup and most likely never will until I change some part of the fuel system to a non oem spec part, as in fuel line, injector (o rings) pump ect ect, that is when issues can and may occure.

Your a total misguided fool if you think you can put Ethonal into a car that has run for a few years on 98, and not expect any issues weeks / months down the track.

If you get a tune done on Ewhatever, change fuel filters within the first few weeks, examine the fuel that comes out, if anything looks sus there may be contaminants in the fuel. The may be minor and just catch in the main filter and that's all, or they may spread everywhere and cause block ups everywhere... Poeple need to understand this.

For reliablitiy sake I prefer Eflex, as from what Ive seen, around syd they are mostly new servos getting Eflex, so perhaps they cant use their older existing tanks on Ethonal? But everyones fav United is way way old servo... My G6ET blends in with the silver service G6s totally.

On the topic of using different pump blends and effecting AFRs, there are a few ways to get around this, setting of stoich is your friend... get it spot on and its Eflex going to work, United going home, no tilt trucks required.

The ford ECU will not self adjust for fuels with different stoich values

Sorry, I just read this part as meaning different fuels can be tailored for in 1 tune .I.e eflex 70% and then united 85% would both work with the same tune
