Gold Donating Members 23,708 Member For: 16y 7m 13d Gender: Male Location: Adelaide Posted 07/01/13 10:42 AM Share Posted 07/01/13 10:42 AM Seriously dont stress, everyone has an opinion and that's fine Oil debate is huge and the profesionals even disagree now and then but when u get to see a few things across the years u make your own decisionsI mean hypnodoc did a write up about a type of oil he once used ( on his bf f6 ) that caused bad clumping and sludge on a near new car ( took rocker off ) and that could of been a set of circumstances that wouldnt effect everyone but it did him !All there is to know ( with these cars ) close oil change intervils are extremely benificial and if u do choose a semi synthetic it is NOT goin to have adverse effects ( as ford recomend a semi ) but if u go full ( not what is required ) who knows what may eventuate , maybe nothing, maybe u might have a set of cams sitting in your shed one day ! I've done a crap ton of cam changes and never seen any problems there. That's all I can go by. I understand everyone has their own experiences.
