I'm wondering if any of the sponsors or other companies have found a solution other than the Hardy spicer tailshafts that I've read about. I live in WA so a perth local workshop would be a preference and if anyone has a rough cost that'd be great.

Pretty sure the shaft has to be modified. But once done if it fails again its an easier fix. Had my tailshaft upgraded not long ago, but he left mine factory stock as he hadnt seen many failures..well atleast in FG's

Give them a call to find out a price for your model etc.

Good service and cheapest by $650 compared to hardy spicer. Oh and he used chromoly where as Hardys only offered steel
