Hey peeps,

Did a search but nothing relevant appeared to have been ask before.

Im looking at buying a process west intake muffler delete pipe, Im interested to see if there are power and sound gains ?

Does anyone have a video of there FG with the muffler cone deleted ?

YouTube provided no luck, Some one must have one fitted on here ?

Cheers in advance guys.

I doubt you would hear the difference in a vid as its only a small increase in noise.

Standard tune noticed no difference, the muffler has no restrictions in it so no gains there.

Looks wise its 100% better, for around $120 worth it just for looks.

RESURRECTION POST :P

Just wanting to know if the extra intake noise only comes when you up the boost? The car is stock ATM so will I notice any intake noise? Some people have been saying no noise at all until you increase boost?

Looking at getting rapid systems one (the stainless with black joiners). I will also be putting a k&n air panel filter. and I was thinking about doing the rapid 3" throttle body elbow thing with bov attached and then after reading another post was thinking about putting aftermarket intercooler piping (process west) to get more noise. So second question is will those parts all be fine to just chuck on without doing any tune (I.e. will I notice lag or any negative effects by putting slightly larger IC piping?) Should I bother doing the 'cutting extra hole in lower airbox'? I seen a few post of ppl just simply cutting the hole rather than trying to stick the f6 lower snorkel. Only thing ive been thinking though is bugs and crap going into air box?

cheers for any help/threads that will help me cause I want more noise (without going all out and doing 4inch turbo intake + battery relocation) as im only thinking 300rwkw zone eventually so stock airbox is all sweet? also let me know if I have posted this in the wrong section lol

I have got a gtx3582r running stock boost and tune atm, I am running a very dodgy aluminium flexible pipe in place of the factory intake muffler(waiting the the process west package to come). So technically it should be louder then any muffler delete pipe on the market, yet intake noise is still quiet.

For a noise test pull the air filter out of the air box and stall the engine on the torque converter or clutch. The sound you hear would be similar to the sound you would have with a k&n panel filter.
