I bought the car around 4 weeks ago at Manheim Auctions Moorebank, it's an ex cop car and I noticed the engine noise around 3 weeks ago, it only comes on after driving the car hard and/or the engine is hot. I've been driving the car with the noise for a while now as it's the only transport I havehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=TzrPhSkQe84http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=9arE8KdsXno Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/83433-fg-xr6-turbo-engine-noise-help/ Share on other sites

My old Ba MKII turbo did it as well. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/83433-fg-xr6-turbo-engine-noise-help/#findComment-1344415 Share on other sites

With 100k Id look at changing the drive belt at the same time.Worst case scenario it just my be your timing chain tensioner and/or chain guides... I had it changed by my tuner. Also changed the drive belt at the same time. It seems to be a common issue - mine had about 120k at the time.
