ledoff Member 62 Member For: 12y 1m 15d Gender: Male Posted 05/01/13 05:20 AM Share Posted 05/01/13 05:20 AM Yep, ford socs have a computer called oracle which reads how many times the pcm has been flashed, if it is more than the flashes recorded under warranty the pcm has been tampered with say you had a ecu out of a wreck with a tune on it and ran that everyday, and just put the original back on for warranty claims, would that work? I think if you modified and broke something fair enough. I dont think enthusiasts should be penalised for design faults.
