awesome thanks!! are there any other options if I DO blow this box? eg 6spd? if so how much? DIY? new tune? new computer to run it? etc?

Search the forum or ask people that have had 4 speeds rebuilt.

Bayswater transmissions and Yarra Valley are the only 2 you can use with confidence in Melbourne.

Mines still going after 5 years, only broke the planateries middle of the last year and it was a $600 fix with parts and labour, nothing else was replaced as its still in great condition.

my box destroyed itself the day after I picked up the car from my first tune. they did not know how to tune to make the trans last, took it to a bloke who knows how to tune these boxes after I had it rebuilt. been good since then.

Mine has a billet servo done. Helps a lot!

300-350rwkw is were they normally let go,trans cooler will help it to live a little while longer probably change the oil aswell when you do trans cooler
