Where the EPA is concerned is the F6 cooler considered a factory part? Just curious to know when combined with an aftermarket CAI if this would be considered as two modifications to the intake which is a no no.

Actually originally I would say no as FPV was technically a different 'make' to ford.. However now they've gone back to the same building are they the same make or still is FPV its own company?

They were always made in the same building. FPV only fitted bumpers, wheels and a few other little bits and pieces.

Don't know why anyone would spend money on a Monza cooler, if you don't have enough money to buy at least a Process West Stg 1 then best to leave the stock cooler in until you can afford a decent one that works.

Thanks Mick. When I bought my car it had the F6 cooler and cai snorkel in it already. Compared to others that have heavily modified their cars it probably sounds trivial but it's good to know where you stand if queried by the authorities.

Rednose there's a lot of people out there with BAs that don't want to run more than 300 through their cars for risk of breaking transmissions or the engine itself. For them it would be a viable option if they don't plan on modding in the future.
