I to have the intank walbro. PW surge with 044. 1000cc injectors.

Had initial issues with the walbro.. But since been on E85, no issues... Fingers crossed

Lol yea that's me, running 17psi 410rwkw, 155 thousand kay ba standard block, you may have witnessed when I was running 24psi on normal 98 unleaded pump after I got an intake mod done, now I can tell you lol that's spooling an getting your boost on:)

I have a similar setup to Miso (CCCC) but 80lb injectors,

I have not had an issue with e85 yet but as Miso said the problem would have been due to old gunk in the fuel system which the e85 cleaned out.

Good to hear the car is running great again Miso.

As per new vehicle manufacturers and component manufacturers dedicating their systems to run both Petrol and E85, every precaution is taken in the materials used.

Fuel lines, fuel pumps , injectors and fuel tanks are all made of anti-corrosive materials.

We are currently seeing problems arise from dedicated petrol vehicles that are running E85 without correct retrofitting.

Unlike petrol , ethanol is hygroscopic (absorbs moisture ) and has corrosive tendancies.Over a long or short period this causes oxidation and detiriation on reactive materials therefore causing goo and particles ending at your injectors.

Correct fuel lines, stainless steel modern injectors, stainless steel fittings, stainless steel fuel rails and tanks will all minimise any currant and future problems running flex fuels.

KPM, I wonder if you could highlight area's of our Falcon that require attention . For example is the plastic fuel tank suitable.

The B and F series Falcons have all the correct gear to support E85 if left standard.

Plastic tanks in modern cars are fine and etahnol resistant.

E85 may cause problems when aftermarket modifications are added that can deteriate when using flex fuels.

Some examples can be untreated aluminium components , non modern style rubber fuel lines.mild steel or lead style fuel tanks etc , older style fuel injectors.
