Had been searching for an FG Head with the thought of getting it ported and flowed to save down time of my car being off the road.. Heaps of cheap NA engines around, however XR6T engines are way more expensive..

Wonder how hard/extra work involved there would be to modify the NA head for the same results?

I have a dream of one day building up a na fg block, can be had so cheap these days and obviously minimises down time, one thing I was worried about was thickness of the block. I thought I read somewhere that 2 out of every 5 blocks are too thin in parts and arent worth building for decent hp is that true?

budget $100 to $120 per exhaust valve, b series turbo heads new off the shelf from fraud are around $2400. Have you priced an Fg unit from your friendly fraud dealer? It doesn't take long (with a b series head at least) to rack up the cost of a new head converting an NA to T
