trying to change out many of the little lights on my car for clear/led alternatives.

have a bunch of 5smd LEDs for the interior parkers, and rear plate light.

have also found the right size for the boot light.

can anyone tell me the type of bulb used in each of the indicators (front, side, mirror, rear) as I seem to recal phillips doing a clear bulb that flashes orange I'd like to swap them out with.

have my manual beside me, but it doesnt give much info. just colours and watts.

anyone have more info on this?

cheers.

might have answered my own question.

seems to be 'most' cars use py21w amber bulbs.

the phillips product I was thinkinng of was 'silver vision'

$40 later... ive got two pairs coming.

still looking for the type used in the side (front quarter panel) if anyone can help there.

Just a little tip for you. If you go LED for reverse lights you'll need the ones with a resistor incorperated. Commonly referred to as CAN compatible. If you don't then they will emit a dull glow when the engine is running even when not in reverse. Reason I know is because I've replace mine with LEDs. I went for 9 SMD for reverse.

Benny.
