Stock shocks all round. It has settled a small amount more since taking that pic.

Havent noticed any scraping so far, even had a good 200kg+ of wood in the back the other day with no issue. Big test will come when I throw the dirt bike in the back and head down a gravel track.

Any chance you can measure your front HTG and let me know?

Cheers

Thanks for that. Its looking more and more likely that my suspension shop just didnt think about the 3 spring seat heights that the bilsteins have (I assume all bilsteins have this). It was the day before a public holiday, so ill cut them some slack lol

Cause when they whacked my SSL fronts in, it dumped to literally more than half way down the sidewall (and was same 245/40 tyre like yours). And had the forward rake even with the SSSL rears in...

FGX 40T if you come to the next maintenance day/chit chat day, then you can compare my rears if needed. My fronts have some AU/BA springs in it....lol

It did drop it maybe 5-8mm from stock...but mainly cause of the bilsteins height adjustment I.e  stock shocks would probably make them go higher than stock.

Thanks- when and where is the next maintenance day? I am heavily involved in my daughter's basketball on the weekends but depending on date and location I may be able to swing by. Would be great to see some different setups. Thanks for the offer.

Cheers

Mike

^^ It hasn't been confirmed or even 100% happening....sometimes the plans fall through. But this is the thread:

Not sure how many FGs will be there on the day, I.e. how many suspension setups for you to look at. But by most accounts, the common theme is to go SSL/SSSL combo....and the only people who seem to scrape have either low hanging dump pipe (I think the xforce one is low?) or people who have mega stanced wheels (OEM wheels wont rub).

If you have the coin you can always go Shockworks coilovers....but that's a good 2k right there (but everyone raves about how good it is) although its recommended to leave it at 350mm HTG all the way round for optimum setup. (which Im pretty sure is higher than the SSL/SSSL combo).
