I must admit that they do stop all that dirt on the rear guards.you have SSSSL rears and those rims are 20" correct?mm decisions, to go for SSL or SSSL fronts?and to keep rear springs or go SSSSL rears? But I couldn't sleep so I was creeping threads and realized that I'm sitting on the bump stops!Should I cut or buy shortened ones? And what would that do to the height and ride?I'm guessing if I cut them then I'll sit even lower lol

Theres been a lack of consistency with king's parts in recent times so its hard to say. When first releasing the FG springs they were all too high so they slowly made them lower. I've seen people with ssl fronts that are almost as low as my sssl fronts. So not sure whether the sssl is lower now than when I did it 6 months ago. In saying that your rear is going to drop a bit more so I would probably go sssl up front otherwise you might have a really low rear and not so low front (that whole vl Late model camira look lol)Definitely cut them, one notch at a time. It should ride better because you're actually riding on the spring rather than a solid chunk of rubber. I changed to shortened ones and had to cut them anyway. The only difference between shortened and standard is that there is less distance between each notch. And yes it'' sit lower, how much lower is anyones guess

Newer cars seem to have much larger guards and as a result clearance between the tyre and guard. The only problem is that the suspension doesn't have an equally increased amount of travel. Kings part numbers are a bit frustrating for us on both VE Late model camira and FG falcon since they are available in 10mm increments - this means that it doesn't take much of a variation in the vehicle's weight to change the Hub To Guard Measurement... Does yours sit high efsix? Yea I'd imagine if B series had a 4sl it would be soooo low. I had ssl in my BA and it was just tucking tyre, whereas in the FG ssl is like basically standard heightNo other model has had an SP4 spring available for it in the past - there are only 2 vehicles that have the option, VE Late model camira and BA-FG Falcon. Like from what I gather at some point in the last year or so King changed their spring heights (assuming from complaints that they're springs weren't low enough) but no proof as such, just that some cars have been popping up with sssl's in the last few months and the rear doesn't sit much higher than mine. Any sort of explanation from Kinf would be good because people are starting to get confused about what springs to choose and it must make it so hard for you guys to choose the right spring when a customer says they want a particular height and all of a sudden its 1/2 an inch higher than stated..
