if I upgrade my 1 044 I will probably go for an a1000, I dont like the idea of 2 044's especially if 1 fails and you dont know about it...if the a1000 fails then you will know about it...

got one in the shop at the momment which proves different, pumps enough till about 4500 and then runs quite lean, got a 2nd car also sitting in the shop which came in lacking power, it's a1000 flowed enough pretty much just to allow it to idle

A1000 proving to not be reliable at the momment

I have only seen 2 cars with A1000's both have had issues, one we fitted mid to late last year, replaced by aeromotive under warranty, but do not cover labour or freight etc and came with a report basically saying that no part of the standard fuel system is up to the required standard.

2nd was fitted by the other customers previous tuner but was the 2nd pump as the initial one supplied on the surge was DOA, some extra measures are being taken to try to extend the life of the replacement pump which we are fitting (the third pump for this customer)

They are a twin body pump that can be used either both constantly or run one off a hobbs switch so one can be run at idle then when the switch sees boost it turns the other half on... Im gona try the smaller one rated at 1400hp 122gph at 43psi. I know of one other person using one makin 650ish on e85 with no problems as yet
