I noticed that fordforums.com has organised a drag meeting this Saturday at Heathcote Raceway. Is anyone from here going?

One other member from here mentioned taking the WDS machine to the day so it may be interesting.

I see from the post on the other forum that 100% and charliewool are going. Looking forward to meeting 100% so I can shake the hand of the man who so generously donated $1000 for the server upgrade, once again outstanding mate. <_<

I thought so, MISSXR changed it to XXXXX I guess when she moved the topic from Cruises and Event. No harm done. :hrmm:

Well the day was run today and it was GREAT! Only 2 Turbo's there though! But a few more of our members were there as spectators or in their "other car" (Pursuit Ute!)

Had about 10 runs and improved my best to 13.1 @ 107mph with a 2.07 60ft on a fairly warm day. Can't wait for a cool night at Calder now. I want the 12 sec slip real bad!

Edit:Merged.

Went to Heathcote drags (organised by Ford Forums) yesterday... What a fantastic day!.. There were a few XR6 turbo members there, 100%'s Utes went well (13.4 I think) This will improve greatly as the temp was right up there (mid 30's) Personnally, my best was a 14.23 with traction & heat also the killer!

Sounded great with the Zorst straight out too.Pitty your times were slower with it running straight out.Did it seem any different?? Also 100%'s best time was 13.17.Impressive.(Would love to see it on a cool day)

P.S Love the stripes.Looks neat.

Actually ran my best time with the pipes dropped (14.23, 3rd run with straight out) My best with pipes on was 14.26 (my last run in the final of DYO) I really don't think it goes any harder with the pipes off though. The heat WAS the killer, PLUS the dodgy shift on the tremec!

And yes .. 100%'s ute is DEFINATELY a 12sec job in cool conditions!
