Hi Guys,

New to the forum so apologies in advance if this isnt the place to post something like this.

Well I am currently an owner of a 280rwkw SS VE and recently had the privilege of driving a flash tuned '2011' F6 (320rwkw) and can I tell you this that I cannot get enough of it. What a difference in car compared to my SS.

I plan to buy either the xr or f6 but want to know whether anyone has ever had issues with either the fg xr6t or fg f6? The reason I ask is that I hear rumors that they tend to have issues but it could all just be a one off like all cars. Extremely keen on selling the SS and changing to a fg xr6t or fg f6.

Any problems anyone has encountered would be grealy appreicated as I want a reliable car as I drive a lot and do regualar trips from Melb-Adel and Melb-Syd on a quarterly basis.

thanks!

Hey mate,

Check out this thread:

Also there may be a few threads about some issues people have had in the FPV section:

I think you should also note that there's a marked difference between xr6t and f6 in the amount of horsepower you get from just a tune.

My fg2 xr6t ute has only a tune and is around 260rwkw.

The f6 has bigger bits in it and will allow you to reach a higher output.
