Help Deciding On A Race E85 Setup

hey guys I cant get this thought out of my head of removing all fords standard fuel system and running my own so here is what I wanna do any input is good input and if it is stupid let me no just some useful information my car is a weekend warrior I only drive it on weekends and is very fastly turning into a race car with that said this what I wanna do, it is a ute also.

I wanna run a dedicated e 85 fuel cell 38l cell 1 single a1000 fuel pump with a filter either side of the pump -8 fuel lines up to plazmaman fuel rail or process west and a turbosmart fpr 1200 with a gauge and -8 return to the cell and stainless braided lines and 1000cc injecters I only want I dont care how much power but 350rwkw would be nice

thanks welshy id rather stay on the safe side and have more rather then less with a price range of 200 dollar diffrence. as I no one day I will wanna push 400s but I have a ba with little legs in her lol.

You dont really need to run a fuel cell you can use the standard tank even for E85 it will be fine. that's a nice setup and will easily support 350rwkw easlity and the best part about it is if you decide to up the power later your fuel system is already setup for it. You could use -6AN fuel lines if you use a dual feed rail. Just make sure the fuel line you chose are E85 compatible. I have a similar setup with -8 fuel lines up to plazmaman trin entry fuel rail, turbosmart fpr 1200 but I have 2000cc injectors and a 2500HP magnafuel pump work a treat.

  • I plan to keep my car on e 85 all the time and it will be better weight transfer if I place the cell and my battery at rear of my car on opposite sides right next to the tailgate another good question is what material cell plastic,aluminum,stainless and what lines??

I'm still waiting on proof that the standard fuel tank, swirl pot, float etc are compatable with E85

I've been running it full time for over a year, ive yet to come into any problems so far. I have replaced the intank a few mnths ago just as a precaution as it was 5 yrs old, and nothing looked out of the ordinary.
