do two disagreements cancel each other out and become an agreement? and vice versa?

also I didnt say back pressure was required J@ did......that we can disagree to agree about our disagreeable agreement yes?

Back pressure in automotive (four-stroke engine) exhaust

Back pressure caused by the exhaust system (consisting of the exhaust manifold, catalytic converter, muffler and connecting pipes) of an automotive four-stroke engine has a negative effect on engine efficiency resulting in a decrease of power output that must be compensated by increasing fuel consumption.

[edit]Back pressure in two-stroke engine exhaust

In a two-stroke engine however, a certain amount of exhaust back pressure is needed to prevent unburned fuel/air mixture from passing right through the cylinders into the exhaust.

[edit]Back pressure in information technology

The term is also used analogously in the field of information technology to describe the build-up of data behind an I/O switch if the buffers are full and incapable of receiving any more data; the transmitting device halts the sending of data packets until the buffers have been emptied and are once more capable of storing information. It also refers to an algorithm for routing data according to congestion gradients (see Backpressure Routing).[2] [3]

Oh dear lol

Do we need backpressure or do we need velocity and low pressure pockets to help with valve overlap ???

I know nothing :)

I've had both the 2.5" twin x-force in mild and s/s. The mild was pretty average quality wise with ordinary finish on the y merge section etc but the s/s was much better made. They grind out all the internal dags on the s/s version.
