Hi Fellas,

Wonthaggi weather

post-7129-0-14509100-1357200559_thumb.pn

Weather is looking sunny and not too hot - so I think a BBQ is a fair bet.

CRUISE LIST:
1. EvilDaifu
2. TonezXR6T
3. Barnesy
4. HER-XRT
5. The Converted + 1
6. Benfu86
7. _Velocity_ (probably riding shotgun)
8. deek

9. jono

I'm planning on catering for 10 people for the BBQ at this stage - please post up any updates to numbers coming

Will I need a camping chair for the BBQ?

If we can get a spot under the covers you wont need a camp chair but it might be busy there so yeah bring one if you have one. Good idea

As for CB - I don't recognise that brand from Jaycar. Looks good on paper but if you want you can borrow one of my cheapies for this cruise until you have a good look around - Uniden is a good brand

Think I should bring my beach umbrella, picnic rug and portable table as well now incase we don't get the under cover spot (its pretty open in full sun - no trees if you don't get the under cover spot from memory) - good prompting jono

Thanks for confirming your numbers :beerchug:

I have a small table I can bring too...fits perfectly in the spare wheel in my boot. If you want me to bring this (or anything else good that matter) just let me know.

Thanks - small table and any folding chairs would be good if you can spare the room - hopefully we won't need them but by the time we get there - could be busy - I've only been past on a weekday before lunch - was empty then but reckon weekends will be busy

Ah well :holiday:

Just to remind you guys - there are still road works in the following areas so give yourself a bit of extra time if going through:

- Westgate Bridge both lanes that may add some delay

- Road works on the Pakenham Bypass leading into Pakenham.

I also checked the CFA website and did not see any fires on or near our proposed route. I'll check again tomorrow.

My mate has pulled out, so it's just me for bbq. Happy to give you $10 if you've catered for too many.
