So they put up bigger speed signs.QLD is a killer at the moment for the 90 'Safety Zones'.. In other words, the "National Highways" (Bruce and Warrego), collapsed and look like chit and they can't afford the fix it bills..Also to anyone who is getting pissed off at a safety zone (Except Gympie - Brisbane it's influenced for other reasons), talk to your local member about it.. Make noise.. At the moment the federal government is funding 75% of the bill to fix highways, however the local Roads Departments don't have staff motivated enough to get anything done before the cut off point for funding. sh*t even if you're getting pissed at the condition of a highway or other state controlled road. I wasn't street racing and don't condone such things and don't get me wrong, I'm glad no one else was affected by my actions. It really did open my eye's getting fined and as a result have become more aware of what other motorist are doing around me as well as being in focused on what the car is doing. Coming from a Pulsar at the start of the year is a massive difference and I did take for granted how easily these cars accelerate, as well as the smoothness of the acceleration which can catch you out.I'm going to appeal for a reduction in suspension period and see what happens from there on. I don't expect you all to support this decision and that's up to you. I was just seeking advice from those who had experienced a similar situation.
