No noise in park or neutral.... but a slight whine when selecting R or D.I suspect the torque converter is the culprit and am wondering what the current thoughts are on torque converters. The one I have currently is rated at 2800 rpm and has performed OK for 8 years / 110000 km.What's everyone running in their +300rwkw 4sp auo boxes? Brand / model / stall : part number?cheerstom

That's with a built 4spd and 380rwkw

If so, what's it like?

It's very streetable, and my 60 fts have dropped with the help of slicks as well.1.48 60 fts, but this size convertor will not last 8 yrs, more like 2 yrs, your better off staying with the std sized convertor. My ute starts to drop cylinders at full torque in second and third gear. I fitted the convertor when I had my four speed built and haven't made any changes to the old tune. Could the PCM be causing the spark cut due to the "computer torque control"? if so, what will my new tuner need to look for as my original tuner sadly passed away. Really struggling coz I'm in Tassie and quality experienced tuners with SCT are hard to come by. Any help would be really appreciated as its killing me not to be able to get full performance out of my xr6t.
