hi all,

my F6 front bar has lots of chips and deep scratches which is driving me up the wall.

was wondering if anyone can recommend me a good place in Sydney to get this respaired professionally without ridiculous costs?

im thinking it wont be the easiest of jobs since there is 2 seperate colours on the front bar and it comprises of sperate prieces also....

would I be better of to just claim it through insurance?

thanks gents

I'd also be interested in how much it would cost roughly, does everyone else have trouble with the front corners bottoming out everywhere. Even on normal driveways! at standard height aswell

Just been quoted to re spray the front bar and bonnet in Breeze and the mouth and driving light surrounds in Oxidised steel for $650 at mates rates (I run a business next door to the crash shop) including materials, I think normal price for them was $800-900 including materials to do both bonnet and bar, so $1200 just to paint front bar is excessive unless there is some major repairs needing to be done. Mine has some major corner and underneath scrapes that needed to be sanded out, and dandruff (stone chips) all over the place, looks shocking when the car is clean and polished.
