At a diff specialist at the moment being told that I should get a kaaz centre instead as the truetracs blow up all the time.

Can't say I've seen anyone on here complain about a truetrac.

Is he talking sh*t?

There's the problem.

On a side note. The previously mentioned diff shop in Thomastown that tried to talk me into a kaaz diff centre is a place that I visited when I first bought my car.

I was, like every falcon owner, looking for a magical solution to the clunk in the rear end. This same bloke, late last year, tried to talk me into a truetrac - promising that it would be the solution.

Now he has kaaz stickers and posters all over his office and claims that he's been fitting them for years because the truetracs blow up all the time.

Oh how I wish my memory worked all the time, not 24+ hours later than I need it.

I figured as much. There isn't a mention in the Haynes repair manual about pulling the cradle out, changing diff bushes and obviously nothing about replacing the diff centre.

Yet the manual is based off of a 'complete teardown and rebuild'.

C#*ts.

Download The BA workshop manual just type it in google and you will find a link saves allot of headaches

I changed my motor 2 months ago an gearbox back in 09 on stands with 3 trolley jacks and a bottle jack but wouldn't even attempt cradle out unless I had a full workshop with hoist
