hi guys ive got a 2012 fg mk2 xr6 turbo and was looking at a cold air intake for it. im not looking to make massive power numbers but want to upgrade the intake. ive been looking at a Process West 'street air box' which replaces the factory air box and part of the piping to the turbo, and was also going to take out the intake muffler too. does this make any difference to air intake temps or is it a bit of a waste of time and money. just wondering if anyone out there has this fitted and if it makes any difference (power, throttle response etc)

The muffler is meant to stay afaik, helps spool or some sh*t.

There's also the kpm one which looks better IMO.

ok guys ive settled on a process west race air box (for now, might change later lol). now will the intake fit with the factory hot side intercooler piping as ive heard there are small differences between fg mk1 and mk2. if anyone has this kit fitted or know anyone with it fitted to to their fg2 turbo id like to know before I order it and fit it only to find out it will interfere with the fatory intercooler piping and have to fork out the cash for the piping as im on a bit of a budget.

thanks matt.
