Just wondering if anyone has purchased one of these big pod walbro setups. I know KPM are selling a similar item, and state that its a 460 lph unit. After talking to these guys, they reckon its the same pump as the 400lph. You will have to tab down page to see what I'm talking about. As the initial sale is for 255lph. Also wondering at what point you can use the 400lph (power wise) as I have seen some articles stating that they can't be used on less than 500hp. As I thought that the fuel regulator would be able to control pressure. But was thinking that the pump may cavitate.

The general concensous is that a fuel regulator is not required for the 400lph pump, as the factory reg will have no trouble. This info came from a tuner that has a car making 735RWKW's. Sound familar.

Anyway, I bit the bullet and bought the 255lph unit. I will let you know what its like after fitting. The beauty is if I wish to upgrade to the 400lph jobbie, its just a "swap and go".

Cheers

Do you tune with the increased pressure Ratter or do you mod the pressure reg to bring it back down before tuning ?

If I am to upgrade to E85 which will need approximately 30% more fuel at WOF, then this craddle which is 30% bigger maybe the go instead of a surge tank? Might give it a shot with the bigger pump
