I have stock 2011 FG update XR6T Auto- no mods

Have just put a new set of

Dunlop SP Sport Maxx "RT"

to replace the original SP Sport Maxx that did 44000kms.

The new RT version has awesome traction.

and it now barely breaks traction on WOT take offs.

paid $285per tyre, fitted, balanced and Wheel Alignment.

@Steph,h13. Thanks for the advice :) Unfortunately I don't think this will nearly do as mine is most definately more powerful than a stock FG XR6T, and you are still getting SOME traction loss on take off (I gather from "it now barely breaks traction....). I'm wanting something that will break almost no traction, im not expecting 100 percent traction, but I wanna be gripping as much as possible.

I honestly get alot of variants,

From experience I know 10.5" rims scrub the rear of a BF sedan. If you stick to a 10" rim and a 255 tire you will have no scrub issues, But you would be best to lip the guards as a heavy pot hole could see you catching it.

As for 275 and larger width tire im pretty positive a BF sedan will scrub the walls of a 30 profile as I have seen it happen many a time.

Just stick a set of ET Streets on the back. You should get 6 months out of them if you don't do too many skids and you'll have plenty of traction. Just not in the wet...

RBjet is correct, ET semi's last a long time if your sensible. my friend has had his 6 months and counting with 40% still left on the tread. though it is a weekend car.
