Puffywagon I was waiting for someone to pick up on that the sellers name is the same as mine haha, doesn't matter going with the BF as stated above.

Thanks for the help guys hopefully will be posting a build thread soon or just a pic of the car at least.

Alex with one post (when I first read it) is asking about a car on gumtree from Alex which is dodgy as fark doubly so.

Wtf karntz :troll:

Box stock T dot is on the money.

P.s I'm going to put my car back together (all stock like...don't ask...) and go for my missus approved cruise your way soon bro. Wanna meet up for a big mac or a beer/soda?

Hit me up with a PM buddy and we can do a meet and greet for sure.

Sounds like a plan.

Roo32 it's just shy of 10k but might go up if nothing good comes with that price, waiting till after xmas to see if anything good comes up after then.

Thing is I am in no rush to buy anything because I still have a reliable daily at the moment which is good because I have been in that trap before.

I'm the opposite - I have a decent XR6T (BFII) and am starting to look for a daily.

It will at best break even money wise (fuel and repair savings on XR6T vs running costs and extra rego of daily - this is ignoring purchase price of course), mainly I need it so that if something does blow up on the fun car, it can sit in the garage for a while and not cause a panic (I need to drive for work).

Good luck with the search!

This is how I always have run my set up.

$3500- $5000 daily/work car (wagon)

White commo wagons fit the bill perfectly.

Then have a toy car to mod and drive around every other time that I'm not at work.

I have tried running a 6ltr SS Thunder (ute) great car but shocking on fuel for everyday and hard work getting tools and materials in and out of because of the hard lid set up.

I don't mind the hit I take with double rego and insurance thing, Have done so since 2009 so its all in the budget these days...

I've spent like $5k in repair bills lately...would have been noticeably less if I'd just opted to replace any non upgraded rear bushes while the rear was out for the diff hat install and front lower control arms (ball joint died) while they were fixing the slow oil weep from the timing cover/sump, but there you go.

I need something that handles like arse and has cheap tyres on it so I don't enjoy abusing it, or is very light so doesn't wear out as much!

Well you need my car then.

Stock suspension and brakes on original rims and tyres and tyres at 70% shot.

Then throw $6000 worth of mods for 315rwkw's.(jetters tuned ) T56 fun all the way.

Full power skid launches.

Farkn fun car to drive....

If it has power I'll flog it around.

Needs to be kinda gutless.  This goes with saving fuel as well, need fuel to make power :)
