No worries mate and thanks! They open tomorrow so will give em a buzz during my lunch break. Hopefully one pops up cheap as I'll only need it for the inspection. So the pod filter wouldn't pass I'm guessing?

I think this depends whether the pod is open and visible or if it has a box around it.

I.e if it has a box around it (you cannot see the actual filter) it will be legal.

Pod filter is on the end of the standard pipe where the air box should be?

In all honesty I would keep the box after inspection and molest it with a hole saw or dremel or grinder whatever.

Pod filters in hot engine bays are sh*t.

Congrats on the buy. Now picsorban!

Man you could just call regency tomorrow and ask them if they will pass it. Just ask to speak to one of the inspectors.

Edt: Maybe an S.A member has one you could borrow for the day?

Try that sh*t in nsw and you'll be disappointed.

Even those turbo side intakes aren't legal even with the cover.

Ok blokes prepare yourselves for my noobness.

Are the airboxes for the ba, bf and fg similar enough to interchange?

I'll loan you mine if it's the case. I'd need it back afterwards though.
